HOW TO APPLY

All applicants for the Natalie Award must be current Bard College students in good standing. The award is open to all students from any department at the college, including graduating seniors.

Students may apply for only one award each year, either the Bard SummerScape Award of $2000 or the Traveling Award of $3000, for an internship and assistantship with a professional theater, company, or designer of the student’s choice.

All internship applications are the responsibility of the student.

Application Deadline: March 15, 2024

Finalists will be contacted to schedule in-person interviews by March 29, 2024. Interviews will be held on campus on April 5 - 7 , 2024.

Two letters of reference from a staff or faculty member of Bard College, additional references may be submitted

One-page statement of personal goals and anticipated benefits from the award

Position or positions applicant has applied for at Bard SummerScape OR Internships/assistantships applied to (include brief description & notification date)

Portfolio and other materials are optional
